I wish I could get this looking just a touch more realistic. I tried doing texture for the bark on the trees, but it failed miserably.
I'm honestly pretty happy with it, though. It looks even better than the cover for Waning Moon, and after a ton of tweaks and edits and just trying to get it right, I think it turned out rather well. 
I'm really happy with how the cat turned out, the anatomy, the texture (though it looks a bit wet paint-ish), especially the fur at a lot of points.
As promised, here is the cover for Book Four of the Echoes of the War series, Trail of Ashes. This time, the cat in the center is Shadowkit. That probably raises a fair amount of questions, but I won't be addressing them just yet.
I hope you like the new blurb, and the cover. The blurb honestly took a /lot/ of editing to get right. Not sure why this one was harder, but eh. Anyway, once I finish the bonus chapters for Waning Moon, I'll get started on this. I still have some chapter planning to do, and school starts back up on Monday, but I'll try to get through this a bit faster than Waning Moon.
Also, I'm going to hold off on posting the Trail of Ashes allegiances for just a little while, for spoiler reasons. I won't say why, and it's not hugely spoilery, but I'm just going to wait a bit. I will say, there's going to be a time skip, so expect some changes.
